This Independence Day (15th August 2025) was a little different for us at TNT Combat Lab. Instead of just watching the parade or staying at home, we joined the Freedom Run organized by the Indian Army here in Aalo.
The run was simple and fun—4 km for those above 16 years and 2 km for the younger ones. We started from Gumin Kin (Mopin Mandir) and ran till the new fuel pump construction site near Kabu, before heading back. The route wasn’t long, but it was full of energy, laughter, and good vibes.
Our gym showed up with 8 members—5 students, 2 coaches, and me (Tumto, co-owner). No trophies this time, but that didn’t matter. Running together as a team and joining so many others from our community felt like a victory on its own.

The best part was the spirit of the run. Everyone was there for the same reason—to celebrate freedom and to stay active. At TNT Combat Lab, Aalo’s own MMA and kickboxing gym, this is exactly what we stand for. Fitness is not just for fighters; it’s for anyone who wants to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in life.
Big thanks to the Indian Army for organizing this event. We walked away tired but smiling, and it only reminded us why we love pushing fitness and MMA training in Aalo and Arunachal Pradesh as a whole. We’re excited for more runs, more training, and more community events in the future.
